The Legacy of Zips Super CowboyZips Super Cowboy (Beyond Reality x Zips Paloma), PHBA World Champion Stallion and AQHA Superior Halter Horse, passed away in 2021, but his impact on the halter and performance arenas remains strong. A proven World Champion sire, Cowboy produced point earners, futurity winners, and NSBA money earners across multiple disciplines. His offspring excelled in halter, performance, youth, amateur, and open divisions, earning World Championships, High Point titles, and national recognition. Cowboy’s success as a sire was no accident. He combined elite pedigree, size, color, and correctness with a rare ability to pass on both halter quality and performance ability. His influence is reflected in horses such as Zips Fancy Fanny, a three-time IBHA World Champion who returned to win another World Championship; Gold Credentials, a PHBA World Champion and four-time #1 Amateur Stock Type Horse in the Nation; and Cowboys Image, whose extensive World and Reserve World Championship record spans amateur, youth, and open performance events. Zips Super Cowboy was named PHBA Leading Sire of Point Earners multiple times, including earning the title with only four foals shown. He was also the Palomino Incentive Program’s highest-earning stallion, cementing his reputation as a sire of versatile, competitive, and durable horses. Carrying the Legacy ForwardToday, Cowboy’s legacy lives on through the mares and foals at Color Your Dream Farm and through the many offspring still kicking butt in the show ring. About Color Your Dream FarmColor Your Dream Farm became a reality in October of 1997 with the purchase of 36 acres in historic Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. What began as a focused APHA halter and performance breeding program evolved with the addition of elite AQHA bloodlines to complement our foundation mares. The acquisition of Zips Super Cowboy in 2003 completed the vision and set the standard that continues to guide the program today. We love the halter arena, but our goal has always been to produce horses that can go on to succeed in performance, youth, and amateur events. Every breeding decision reflects that philosophy.
